The simplicity says it all! I thought the scratch was and artsy signature (lol) Did you gesso your paper first?.. How do you frame or mount oil on paper...just curious as I have been painting up a storm in oil on gessoed watercolour paper, and don't know what to do with them! Maggie
Hi Maggie, good idea, let's call it a signature. :)
I use special oilpaintpaper. When the painting is ready and all dried up I put it in a picture-frame with a passe-partout (is that English?). When you look at my "vitrine project" topic you'll see what I mean.
